Meet Some of Our School Horses and Ponies
At Kismet Farms, we have all levels of school horses, and school ponies! They range in ability from patience on the lunge line and up-down lessons, to upper-level jumpers. You’ll note that our KF Riding School program runs in 7-week sessions (3-week sessions during summer and December months), which allow for a full week off during sessions. During their off weeks, our school horses get to relax and recharge. They get daily turnout with acres to kick up their feet, graze, or just melt in the sun. This keeps them happy and healthy. Many of them are still privately own so you’ll likely see them receiving plenty of kisses and lots of treats!
Our school horses help our riders learn and increase their skills both on the ground and mounted. You’ll gain confidence in your own abilities in the saddle and in your horsemanship knowledge. All of these combined, help move our riders through the levels of our riding school program as they continue to ride our wonderful and well loved horses.
